Arnold Expo 2008

Today was the first day of the Arnold Expo in Columbus, OH. Not only was it a great start for the Arnold Strength Summit presented by StrengthPro www.strengthpro.com but we also saw many amazing sites. From the huge men (and women!) walking around the expo to the different events from the Women's Figure & Fitness Competitions to the Strongman Competition.

The Strongman competition was especially amazing as many records were broken. The most amazing was the Tire Deadlift record where strongmen deadlift a bar weighted with Hummer tires. For the first time ever one Strongman lifted and held for emphasis 8 Hummer tires weighing a total of 1034 lbs!! The crowd went wild and it was truly an amazing feat of strength!

OPIPRO Launch!

Today is the official launch of the new website of the Online Performance Institute. The website is at www.opipro.com. We have coordinated the launch to coincide with the Arnold Expo, the biggest sports and fitness festival in the world with 17,000 participants and 150,000 spectators.
We will be presenting at the Arnold Strength Summit, a collaboration of some of the best strength and conditioning coaches.
We are looking forward to bringing the internet a resource dedicated to accurate and beneficial training information for both strength coaches and the regular joe looking to improve their fitness level and knowledge.
